I am a freelance translator and graduate student in comparative literature and Latin American studies. In my research, I focus on how translations, adaptations, and paratext have helped the works of Latin American authors become works of world literature. I have no background in technology, but I am very curious about how tools work and tend to embrace different ones and play around with them until I figure them out, which can lead to positive or negative results. However, the outcome is usually irrelevant as long as I enjoy myself throughout the process.
